QIK-Test
With the QIKtest, you carry out a 21-minute continuous attention test — each of over 600 reactions is recorded with high accuracy.
What is a QIK test?
In neurological-psychiatric diagnostics and neurotherapy (biofeedback, neurofeedback, rTMS and others), we often require highly accurate performance tests to measure the progress of the patient. We can also use the QIK test as a procedure in practice. We obtain valuable results for certain questions from the evaluation of sustained attention tests on attention, sustained attention, distractibility and reaction accuracy. With the QIKtest, you carry out a 21-minute sustained attention test — each of the more than 600 reactions is recorded with a high degree of accuracy.
The two buttons on the left and right of the test device are used to react to the optical light signals or to suppress unwanted reactions. We can also register clients (for a fee) on the EEG Expert website, after which any number of pre- and post-tests with QIKtest and symptom tracking are available. Here you will automatically receive a 6‑page report for each test with colored charts, explanatory comments and the exact numerical overview. The norm base is greater than 20,000. The underlying tests are from the years 2008–2014. The norm is carried out for both sexes and for 5–99 years. The procedure is particularly suitable for assessing the course of treatment for AD(H)S, but also for other neuropsychiatric disorders.
Will the costs for the QIK test be covered by health insurance?
The QIK test is offered in the practice as an individual health service (IGEL). The procedure is therefore not covered by statutory health insurance. The costs usually have to be borne by the patient. If you have private insurance, the costs can often be reimbursed. For more information on making an appointment and the costs involved, please contact the practice team.
