It is also known that flas\u00adhing lights can affect brain waves. When a light flas\u00adhes ste\u00adadi\u00adly in the eye, the brain is sti\u00admu\u00adla\u00adted, caus\u00ading brain waves to be brought to the same fre\u00adquen\u00adcy as the flas\u00adhing light by regu\u00adla\u00adting brain cen\u00adters (so-cal\u00adled ent\u00adrain\u00adment or pho\u00adtic dri\u00adving).
